Alexander Klimchuk

Alexander Klimchuk is a mining engineer and strategy professional with over 15 years of experience across mining operations, technical consulting, and executive advisory roles. He has led complex mining projects internationally, supporting both private companies and global institutions in operational improvement, project evaluation, and resource optimization.

Alexander has held senior roles at organizations including McKinsey & Company, Mariana Minerals, and Kinterra Capital, where he worked as a mining expert advising C-suite leaders on operational excellence, digital transformation, and strategic planning. Earlier in his career, he contributed to major mining and tunneling projects as a consultant at SRK Consulting and as a project engineer at Herrenknecht AG.

He holds a Master’s degree in Mining and Mineral Engineering from Federation University Australia and a Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering from Moscow State Mining University (MSMU).
